Alder wood top, heat and water resistant, mounted on black metal legs.

Cows & Krishna are closely entwined with each other in Hindu mythology.

Krishna is also called Gopala, which literally means 'protector of cows'.

He is often depicted playing his flute surrounded by the cows he protects and loves.

In ancient India cows were seen as a symbol of strength, abundance & fertility.

Because of their usefulness and calm nature they are still considered to be an important animal in

Indian culture by many.
