BIO

Anjana Bhardwaj, an artist based in Istanbul, turkey, was born in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India, in 1984.

Growing up in a country steeped in art and culture, she developed an early fascination with the world of art and design. this intrigue for design led her to pursue a degree in interior architecture, where she had the privilege of working alongside some renowned architects in Bombay.

In 2010, Anjana embarked on a transformative journey by relocating to turkey. adapting to a new country, language, and culture, she experienced a profound need to rediscover her artistic passion. pursuing a master's degree in yacht design was a significant milestone in her journey, yet she sensed that something essential was still missing.

It was during this exploration of her artistic identity that she discovered a profound connection with wood —a medium that would become the foundation of her unique artistic expression.
