Inspiration

I’ve used a combination of acrylic paint, UV activated paint and glow in the dark paint for this piece.   This painting brings together the enigmatic anglerfish and the ethereal jellyfish, each symbolizing unique aspects of the underwater world and human experience. The anglerfish, with its bioluminescent lure, embodies themes of attraction and deception, reflecting the hidden dangers and allure within the depths of the ocean. In contrast, the jellyfish, with its translucent beauty and graceful movements, represents resilience and the subconscious mind, illuminating the mysteries of the unseen with its delicate luminescence. Together, these creatures weave a narrative of duality—beauty and danger, light and darkness—capturing the intricate and interconnected dance of life beneath the waves.
